Coffman vs. Romanoff Race Ranks Fourth Most Competitive in Country

National Journal’s latest list of top 10 competitive congressional seats puts Colorado’s 6th District at fourth.  The Cook Political Report, which provides the National Journal with its data, predicts a Republican pick-up of 2 to 12 seats.

Democrats, of course, don’t agree, and need 17 to retake control of the House and bring Nancy Pelosi back as Speaker.

The analysis argues that if Mike Coffman loses, it would be another blow to Colorado Republicans’ effort to regain their foothold in the Denver suburbs.
