The U.S. and China in the 2020 Election – A New Cold War?

Are we in danger of a new Cold War with China? World leaders are concerned. They believe the struggle could worsen the pandemic, derail the economic recovery and lead to a military conflict.

The UN Secretary-General António Guterres spoke for the gathered leaders when he said at the opening of the UN annual summit:

We must do everything to avoid a new Cold War…A technological and economic divide risks inevitably turning into a geo-strategic and military divide.
