Republican Fortunes Rise as Obama Sinks

It may not be the long looked for wave benefitting the Republicans, but the water is getting very high for the Democrats.

President Obama’s approval rating has declined 2 points the last two weeks, just as the generic ballot test for congressional preferences has risen 2 points for the Republicans. No doubt related metrics.

If the Democrats lose the senate as expected and 10 or more seats in the House, this midterm would constitute Shellacking II sans the wave.
